We think we know a bit about cooking the perfect Christmas dinner - having grown up (Helen) on a free-range turkey farm in Essex we are very experienced in serving hearty festive feasts - add to this a cosy wooden chalet with an enchanting snowy back drop, a roaring log fire, free-flowing mulled wine and the chance to ski; snowboard; ride a horse & sleigh and go dog sledding on Christmas day - rudechalets™ is definitely the place to be!
On Christmas day the celebrations commence
with a sparking wine & smoked salmon breakfast. You can enjoy freshly cooked mince pies and spicy mulled wine throughout the day and in the evening we serve a tasty traditional 5 course turkey dinner – starter, roast turkey main course, Christmas pudding, cheese board, port, coffee & mints.
We love the whole Christmas experience so we decorate our chalets with
sparkling lights and a real Christmas tree, make sure there are plenty of entertaining board games including Trivial Pursuit & Twister, and even provide an in-chalet guitar – ideal for jolly sing-a-longs with Grandad after he’s had one too many sherries!
