Chamonix is aguably home to the greatest freeride terrain in Europe if not the world.
Chamonix has been welcoming travellers and adventurers for over two and a half centuries and can be truly described as an outdoor enthusiast's paradise... ok we may be 250 years late but this year we will open the first of our
Chamonix chalets...
The town is situated at the base of Mont Blanc, Western Europes highest mountain which at it's peak towers 4807 meters above sea level.
The ski areas along the Chamonix Valley includes Les Grands Montets which peaks at 3725M; Le Brevent & La Flegere at 2414M; Le Tour at 2770M and Les Houches at 1800M.
In addition to this Mont Blanc is home to the longest off piste run in the world - Le Vallee Blanche. The run itself is not particularly challenging, but the glacier and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning.
Getting to your catered accommodation in Chamonix is very easy... after landing at Geneva Airport you can be at the heart of the extremely vibrant town centre within 1 hour.. and rudechalets™ transfers are included in the price.
The apres ski scene in Chamonix is very lively and the selection of bars is extensive. In addition there is a great range of restaurants serving from traditional Savoyarde food to Sushi. The town square itself is completely pedestrianised and includes a wide variety of shops to suit all budgets. The views to Mont Blanc are breathtaking so take the time to grab a morning coffee or afternoon beer outside one of the many cafes.
As far as we are concerned, there should be a written rule for every skier & snowboarder to experience this amazing resort and the on-piste and off-piste terrain Mont Blanc has to offer.
