Morzine is one of 12 resorts which link together to provide 650Kms of awesome high altitude skiing in France and Switzerland – known as the
Portes Du Soleil, the worlds largest ski area. The Portes Du Soleil provides exceptional terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Morzine is set between Les Gets and Avoriaz which provides it with easy access to both the French and Swiss Alps.
Unlike many other resorts, Morzine has managed to retain its original Savoyarde charm and still develop a modern edge. During the winter season Morzine tends to attract the more laid back
contingent of the winter sports fraternity creating an extremely friendly and lively atmosphere.
Après ski can be energetic or relaxed, obviously depending on which bar you choose.
Morzine town centre has a fantastic range of restaurants and bars to suit all budgets and a number of nightclubs to keep you going until the early hours.
In addition to this Morzine is host to one of the best Ice Hockey teams in France - the Morzine
Penguins. Watching the local derby can make for an extremely entertaining evening!
