Rudeville 2011 Slopeside Party

The Mayor of Rudeville would like to invite all trusted Rudevillians and their family & friends to attend his pre-season snow-lovers gathering at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead on Saturday the 24th September between 8pm - midnight.

Doors open at 7pm. Everyone will have free access to the slope between 8 - 10pm and there will be an après-ski shindig with music and merriment in the Edge Bar over-looking the slope from 8pm - midnight.   Our lovely friends at Burton are providing a very small selection of brand spanking new winter 2012 snowboards and bindings for you to test.  And both ski and snowboard equipment will be available to rent for no extra cost direct from the Snow Centre.

In order to register and confirm your attendance: we ask that you make a small donation of at least £2 to the very worthy Snow-Camp charity via Rudeville's Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/rudeville.  Snow-Camp is an innovative youth charity that uses a unique combination of skiing, snowboarding and life-skills programmes to support inner-city young people. 

Transport:  The Snow Centre is a 7 minute taxi ride from Hemel Hempstead station.  There are regular train services between Hemel Hempstead and London, Birmingham and Manchester.  The last train back to London Euston is 23:45.  rudechalets will be providing a FREE 16 seater taxi service from the Snow Centre to Hemel Train station between 22:30 and 23:35 (please note this will operate as a shuttle service on a first come-first served basis)

Food: The kitchen in the Edge Bar will be open until 9pm so if you are hungry you can buy burgers / chips / hot dog style grub.
